Honest advice first
Back glass is a tricky repair.
A cracked back does not stop your iPhone working, but it looks bad and can let in dust and moisture. You can fix it at home if you take your time and use the right tools. Here is what to expect.
The broken glass has to come off, the frame has to be cleaned, and the new glass is bonded on. Plan a calm, well-lit session.
A back glass removal tool, glue remover and a good adhesive make a big difference. We list them below.
Choose Part + Installation on the product page and we install it in store in Welland or Fonthill.

What the job looks like.
A simple overview only. Always follow a repair guide for your exact iPhone model.
Power the phone off, set up a clean surface and keep a tray for small parts.
Use a back glass removal tool or the method in your guide. Wear eye protection because the glass is already cracked.
Remove old glue and residue from the frame with a glue remover so the new glass sits flat.
Apply adhesive as your guide recommends and press the new glass into place, checking the camera area lines up.
Allow the adhesive to cure fully before you use the phone normally.

Questions answered.
Can I replace the back glass on my iPhone myself?
Many people do, but it is one of the trickier iPhone repairs. The old glass has to be removed, the frame cleaned and the new glass bonded on, so patience and the right tools matter. If you would rather not risk it, choose the Part + Installation option and we fit it in store in Welland or Fonthill.
What is the difference between Genuine OEM, Service Pack, Aftermarket and Used OEM glass?
Each product page shows the type in the title. Genuine OEM and Service Pack are listed as original-manufacturer parts, Aftermarket (No Logo) is a lower-priced alternative, and Used OEM Pull is a genuine part taken from another phone, with a Grade A or Grade B shown in the listing. Check the description of the exact listing you are buying.
What does Part Only versus Part + Installation mean?
Many of our back glass listings let you choose a Purchase Option. Part Only is for DIY or shipping. Part + Installation is in-store only at our Welland and Fonthill locations.
Will the back glass include the MagSafe magnet, NFC and flashlight flex?
Many listings are titled Back Glass with MagSafe Magnet, NFC and Flashlight Flex, so those items are part of the listing. Always read the title and description of the exact product to confirm what is included for your model.
Do you ship back glass across Canada, and can I pick up in store?
Yes. We ship across Canada, and pickup is free at our Welland and Fonthill locations. Checkout shows shipping rates and estimated delivery times for your address.
