Description
This PS5 CFI-1000 Blu-ray disc drive replaces the optical drive assembly in original 1000-series PlayStation 5 disc-edition consoles, including CFI-1015A. The model-specific assembly is intended for diagnosed problems with disc handling or playback hardware. Because the original PS5 uses model- and board-specific drive components, confirm the CFI-10 series and review existing drive authentication electronics before proceeding with the repair.
